What if Afrosiyob is completely sold out for my dates?
Check the slower Sharq or Nasaf trains on the same corridor, which often have seats when Afrosiyob doesn't. Otherwise, a private car transfer covers the same Tashkent-Samarkand-Bukhara routes door-to-door, on your own schedule, without needing a ticket at all.
How early should I arrive at the station?
At least 30 minutes before departure. Boarding closes shortly before the scheduled departure time and Uzbekistan Railways enforces this strictly.
Do I need to bring a specific passport when boarding?
Yes — the exact same passport used when booking the ticket. Passenger details are checked against it at boarding, and mismatches can cause real problems.
