1. Our Role as a Booking Platform

TourFixer operates as a curated booking platform and intermediary. We connect travelers with trusted, independent local providers in Uzbekistan, including local guides, private transfer drivers, and boutique hotels. While we heavily vet our local partners to ensure high-quality service, the ultimate fulfillment of the transport, tour, guiding or accommodation is the responsibility of the respective local provider.

2. Booking and Payment Terms

Direct Transactions: TourFixer functions strictly as a connection platform. We do not process payments, hold funds, or collect fees from travelers. All financial transactions are conducted entirely between you (the traveler) and the independent local provider.
Provider-Specific Terms: Payment methods, deposit requirements, and total costs are determined solely by the individual provider (e.g., local guide, driver, or hotel).
Deposits and Balances: Some providers, particularly for private transfers, may require a direct deposit to secure your booking. Other services, such as local guides, may request cash payment upon arrival. The specific payment terms will be communicated to you by the provider during the booking process.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Provider Policies: Because TourFixer does not collect or hold any payments, we do not issue refunds. All cancellations, modifications, and refund requests are subject to the specific local provider you booked with.
Communication: If you need to cancel or change a booking, you must contact the local provider directly.
Platform Etiquette: While we do not handle funds, we monitor the reliability of travelers using our platform. Failing to show up for a confirmed booking without notifying the local provider results in a ban from using TourFixer in the future.

4. Traveler Responsibilities

Travel Documents: You are entirely responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport, necessary visas, and any required travel insurance for entry into and travel within Uzbekistan.
Accuracy of Information: You must provide accurate pick-up locations, dates, and contact information (such as a valid WhatsApp number) when booking so our local providers can reach you.

5. Liability Disclaimer

While we strive to provide flawless travel experiences, TourFixer is not liable for:

Delays, accidents, or route changes caused by weather, road conditions, or vehicle malfunctions.
Personal injury, property damage, or loss of belongings during a tour or transfer.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts in Uzbekistan.
